Middle Ages Europe 3D Project model has been assigned! (40 points)

Students are going to build their own 3D European Middle Ages project and display them for the entire school to see. Students should decorate their 3D structure and add addition scenery objects that they have learned about in our Middle Age Europe chapter. Some examples as to what students can build are castles, homes, churches, etc.

See last years projects here: https://kanavati.edublogs.org/2016/05/06/european-middle-ages/

Buildings should include: (10 points per category)

  • Additional scenery objects surrounding the structure. Some examples can include: Knights, Peasants, Kings, farmland, etc.
  • Color on the structure and surrounding (such as water, trees, green for grass, etc.)
  • a 3d model with a written paragraph explaining the project
  • Show that the project reveals how Middle Age Europeans would be living their daily lives, such as how would they be cooking, working, socializing with different social classes, writing, learning mathematics etc. This part could either be in the form of a drawing, or 3d.

6th Grade Social Studies project!

This assignment was assigned October 14th, but it’s coming up! Here are the instructions again.

Ancient Egyptian 3D Project model (40 points) (November 14th)

Students are going to build their own pyramids and display them for the entire school to see. Students should decorate their 3d Pyramid and add addition scenery objects that they have learned about ancient Egyptian civilization.

Pyramids should include: (5 points per category)

  • Additional scenery objects surrounding the pyramid. Some examples can include: camels, mummies, tools, or anything else they learned about ancient Egyptian civilization
  • Color on the pyramid and surrounding (such as water, or desert)
  • 3d model
  • How Ancient Egyptians would be living their lives such as cooking, working, socializing with different social classes, writing, learning mathematics etc. This can either be a drawing, or 3d.

Students can design their pyramid any way they want as long as it shows the 4 categories, especially how the ancient Egyptians lived their daily lives. They should also include a short paragraph explaining what they built.
